If you are familiar with Striped Swallow Designs patterns, you have probably noticed by now that we adore a good ruffle. Many of our patterns, including the newly released Winter Park, the popular Desert Breeze, and the Willow Raglan that I will be using as an example here all use gathering to create their distinct looks. If something involves gathering, I can just about guarantee you that I will be using clear elastic to do so--and today, I want to share this method with you!
