Lavender essential mist, made at Starbright Farm with distilled french lavender hydrosol and pure lavender essential oil, is the perfect spray to freshen up your day. Invite the sweet smell of a lavender field into your home by spraying on linens, and laundry, as a room spray, or as a quick refresher on the way out the door.  Starbright Farm uses a bit more essential oil than is standard, so a little bit goes a long way!  Lavender is used for its calming, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant; calming, relaxing, soothing properties and can be ingested in teas or applied directly to the body.

Legends & Lore:  Lavender has long been believed to attract love and to induce sleep and rest.  Lavender was scattered around the home in ancient times with the belief that it would maintain peacefulness.  It's been said that the plant is so powerful, that if when depressed, one gazes upon the plant all sorrow will depart and a joyous feeling will settle upon the observer.  It was said that love notes were best received on paper that had been rubbed with lavender.  

NOTE FROM LAUREN: Ah lavender!  One of the prettiest natural scents, it's truly intoxicating!  When our friends Helen and Mark and their son Peter told us that they would begin growing lavender on their farm I was beyond excited for them!! It's VERY difficult to grow in the Mid-Atlantic and I'm blown away by the beautiful lavender growing and thriving now at Starbright Farm.  Helen, Mark, and Peter harvest their lavender, creating the most beautiful sachets, hydrosols, sprays, and products you can imagine.
