The wool for the Steady Betty cover was chosen specially for its distinct properties and thickness; therefore, giving the pressing surface the perfect amount of cushioning. Unlike the wool mats that allow heat and steam to penetrate the wool, there is minimal heat transfer through the board due to its' unique core construction. The foam side holds fabric so it will not move, stretch or distort.
