The other side comes with a built-in signature Cracker Well (a Sonder LA original circa 2017), which can be used as a catch for diced items during meal prep, but is also perfectly sized to hold crackers, sliced baguettes, or any accompaniments you don’t want rolling off your board like nuts, olives, or berries. Special Skills: I really excel as a snack or charcuterie board thanks to my signature Cracker Well. Likes: Julia Childs, the Fourth of July, pancake breakfasts, meals shared with you and your family, and regular spa treatments every 3 weeks (mineral oil or beeswax only, please!). Dislikes: Dishwashers, baths, or anything involving submersion in water or steam, and serrated knives, which can cause me to splinter. Also, the stove and my family are in a lifelong feud, so please don’t store me directly next to or on top of him; I just can’t stand the heat. Safe & Non-Toxic: Free of BPA, phthalates, and formaldehyde. Behind The Name: My name by definition means attractive or appealing in appearance or character. It's also the name of a restaurant in Los Angeles my parents really liked (it sadly closed). Care: I’m ideally suited for an experienced owner; however, I love the opportunity to show new owners how great I can be when well cared for. Made from responsibly harvested American Cherry, this cutting board allows the natural grain of the wood to stand out and will last long to be treasured for years in use on counter-tops and serving tables. This board can be used in on both sides. The juice groove on one side presents a convenient environment for various meats and moist ingredients but flip the board and the flat side presents a perfect surface to presents cheese, bread, and other hors doeuvres.
