Finally, a perfectly sized mold to create pen blanks and magic wands (you read that correctly). After numerous requests from our woodturning and pen making customers we developed this unique two cavity mold. It is perfect for creating two 12x1x1 square rods, which can be cut in half to create four 6x1x1 pen blanks. Alternatively, it can create 12x1x1 blanks that can be turned on a lathe to create thin cylinders and resin and wood wands.

Please note that the mold cavities on this pen blank / wood turning mold have a matte finish, not a glossy/polished finish like some of our other in-house made silicone molds. As the intent of this mold is to create pieces for wood turning, the initial finish out of the mold was less important than the size of the cast piece. If you require a polished/glossy finish you will need to further sand and polish your castings, or apply a resin top coat.
