Malabrigo Rios is a favorite amongst knitters and crocheters! It's worsted weight, super soft and washable; plus it has excellent stitch definition. Each kit includes 3 individual color skeins of Rios, 210 yds. each for a total of 630 yds.; one light, one medium and one dark color. Also included is twelve 1 skein pattern suggestions for knit and crochet. Malabrigo began as a small venture in 2005, when two brothers-in-law started to dye wool in a kitchen pot. Their success led to the sale of a few skeins to the US, and before long, their business had rapidly expanded to other countries in Europe and beyond. Malabrigo sources its wool from free-range sheep traditionally shepherded on Uruguay's lush pastureland. Malabrigo does not practice mulesing.
