Heritage Archival Corrugated Cardboard

By A Mystery Man Writer

Description

These acid free boards set the standard for archival corrugated board (or archival cardboard). We stock the greatest assortment of board types (flutes) and sizes anywhere. Greatly exceeding the quality of other acid free cardboards available on the market today, and passing much more stringent testing for permanence than simply the Photo Activity Test (see certifications below). Our boards are stiffer and are an ideal material for boxmaking and backer board. They are perfect for all of your preservation and storage needs.Corrugated board (or cardboard) is made from two sheets of paper glued to a corrugated inner medium called fluting. Corrugated boards are assembled in a way such that the overall result is far stronger than each distinct layer. This multi-use acid free board is blue/gray on one side and white on the other, making it perfectly suited for framing, box making, and other types of enclosures where the objects can sit against a non-pigmented surface, while still maintaining the traditional blue/gray color on the outside. This paper which the board is constructed provides the strongest and most rigid sheet on the market, while still maintaining superior folding characteristics. Also great as support panels and work surfaces in conservation labs and printshops, and as shelf liners, dividers or as an artist
