The Lapis Lazuli version of the GW GemPen has been the most widely requested gemstone to be used in this series. The pen material is acrylic acetate with a section made of the incredibly warm resin juma. Although the pen body has a taper and can post, this is really for aesthetics. The pen has better center of balance without the cap posted. The cap features the namesake of the piece, a rollstop made from a highly polished Lapis Lazuli gemstone cabochon set in fine silver. The centerband at the base of the cap is .925 sterling silver. Included is a professional grade jewelry polishing cloth to keep everything looking like new. Most importantly is the nib. Each pen uses a JoWo #6 nib in your choice of finish and tip size (please let me know your preference during checkout) that has been tuned to write perfectly from the start. The pen dimensions are: Total Weight: 22 gramsTotal Length: 148 mmCap Length: 63 mmBody Length: 135 mm tip to tailGrip Section Thickness: 10mm The available nib choices, in both polished steel or black oxide, are: Extra Fine Fine Medium Bold 1.1 Italic 1.5 Italic Made to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for work on your pen to begin. Once started, it will be ready within the week. If shipped to a NJ address sales tax will be added. Each pen will ship in a GW Pens pen box.
