SAMPLE Vanilla Infused Jojoba Oil Face Oil – Leaf Seed Berry Skincare

One of our all-time favorites! A simple, yet absolutely decadent facial oil/serum of vanilla bean-infused Jojoba oil. Infused right here under the California sun, it has the warm, sensuous fragrance of vanilla with the anti-oxidant and moisturizing properties of the Jojoba oil.

Fun fact: Jojoba oil is technically not an oil at all. Structurally and chemically, Jojoba is very similar to the human sebum produced by the skin's sebaceous glands. It is non-toxic, non-comedogenic (won't clog your pores) and non-allergenic with a non-greasy feeling in use.

Vanilla doesn't just smell amazing; it's also fabulous for your skin!:

- Wound healing: Vanilla was used historically to help heal wounds, and today we know that it has anti-inflammatory properties that may help to soothe and calm inflamed areas on the skin.

- Antioxidant: Vanilla is a great source of natural antioxidants. A 2007 study that profiled the extract found that the antioxidants were significant, stating, “The present study points toward the potential use of vanilla extract compounds as antioxidants for food preservation and in health supplements as nutraceuticals.” These natural antioxidants can also help protect skin from environmental assaults that can accelerate aging.

- Antibacterial: Vanilla can help reduce skin infections—another reason it helps encourage wound healing—and can reduce the bacteria that cause acne.

- B vitamins: You’ll find many of them in vanilla, including niacin, which is a key nutrient in the maintenance of healthy skin.

I love to use this at night, after my Rose Essence Face Toner. It has a way to soothe and put you in the right mood for a good night's sleep. :)

Sample will come in a 4mL glass vial with dropper. Enough for approx. 10-12 uses. Simply apply a few drops to fingers and apply to your skin. Can be used all over your body. I love to apply it to my décolleté, too.
