The 62-52-18 Zinc core candle wick is a unique construction that provides maximum rigidity in a wide variety of candle systems. The Zinc Core's jacket design is 100% all-natural and maintains unmatched rigidity in the molten wax pool. 62-52-18 Zinc Core wicks are cotton braids with an inner zinc core (no lead alloys). They are suitable to be used in tealight, votive, pillar, and container candles. The potential for mushrooming resulting from carbon buildup can be minimized by using the proper wick size and keeping the wick trimmed. Zinc core wicks are cooler burning and can be used in a variety of waxes. Our USA made 62-52-18 Zinc wicks are primed in a high melt point natural wax, are pre-cut to 6" lengths, and are tabbed using a 20mm round wick tab with a 6mm neck. Note: We recommend testing new wick sizes when making any modifications to existing candle recipes or making new candles. Burning characteristics can be altered by changes in wax, fragrance oil, dye, and/or additives, which could result in a different optimal wick size for the same diameter candle.

A well-rounded wick that combines the structural strength of a paper core wick with the performance and even burn of a zinc wick. HTP wicks work well in paraffin, gel, and soy waxes. These HTP wicks are from the new manufacturer, and may not behave the same as previous manufacturer. Testing is highly recommended.
